Q: I’ve had a RIN0 customer today, but wasn’t able to see the account balance or accept payment with the Total Recall outage. What should I do?

A: The are two solutions outside of Total Recall for viewing a RIN0’s balance and accepting a CC payment:

  1. Online Account Portal

For RIN0 customers, they’ll need to use the email and phone number they provided to create a RIN0 to login to their online account portal. RIN0 customers do have an online account.

You (manager) can view their customer info by clicking the “Details” button in Rental Manager next to their RIN0. If a customer has that information, they can login and make their RIN0 payment (and view the balance), through our online account portal.

  1. The SRC can both view the balance and accept payment for a RIN0 customer.

If your customer calls the SRC, the representative has access to the both the account balance and is able to accept a credit card payment for a RIN0.

Either method will help you turn a RIN0 into a RIN, so you can check them in.
